Q: Did you stand up straight but stay relaxed?
A: I stood up strait for most of my presentation. I think I looked a little nervous, so I look uncomfortable.
Q: Did you pause for a moment before you began your speech?
A: I did pause for a few second before I started my presentation. I think I pause for a good amount of time.
Q: Did you look at your audience?
A: I looked at my audience the entire time. I also did this part of the presentation well.
Q: Did you let your facial expressions naturally reflect what you were saying?
A: While I was presenting, I was nervous about being in front of people, so my face did not reflect what I was saying well. I think I could definitely improve on my facial expressions.
Q: Did you use your hands?
A: I used my hands a little bit during my presentation. I could have used them more, but I didn't want to use them too much.
Q: Did you speak loudly enough so that everyone could hear you?
A: I spoke loudly enough for every one in the class to hear me. I was very good at keeping my volume.
Q: Did you change your tone to show how you felt (upset, excited) about an idea or to emphasize a point?
A: I used my tone a few times to emphasize my ideas and thoughts. I could have use tone a little more, but I think mine was fine.
Q: Was your speed of delivery too fast, too slow or just right?
A: I feel that my presentation delivery was just right. I never felt like I was going to fast or to slow.
Q: Did you practice your speech at home before giving it?
A:I practiced my speech at home twice before giving it. I practiced once in front of my Mom, and once in front of my Mom and Dad.
Q: What did you notice that you did well in your speech?
A: I think I presented my information well. I also think that I kept my speech shot and to the point.
Q: Describe one aspect of public speaking you will work to improve?
A: I have always been nervous about speaking in front of people. I think that once I can overcome my fear of being in front of other people for long periods of time, I will also be able to work out any flaws my speech might have, like hand movement or facial expressions.
