If you didn't know, this year, just before Christmas break, it snowed. I live on one of the highest places on Whidbey Island so there was 4-8 inches of snow. I had a lot of fun. One of the things I did when it was snowing was go sledding. There is a huge hill in the front of our house so we didn't have to go anywhere. I only sledded on the first day because on the second day of snow my uncle Ole let me barrow his snowboard. On the third of fourth or fifth day of snow (I can't remember) my family had a house warming party and a lot of cousins came over and we all snowboarded. My older cousin built a 4- 5 foot tall jump. We also tied ropes to the back of our quads and I pull some people around on there snowboards. Some of the adults there brought over a huge square inflatable thing that is mean to be pulled behind a boat, and they tied it to a 4-wheeler. On the same day both of the quads got flipped. A few days later I went to Stevens Pass and went snowboarding for the first time at an actual ski resort. I did pretty good for my first time (except for when I was at my house). Some people say that snowboarding is way cooler than skiing, but I think that skiing is way better. You can go down harder hills on skis with out as much practice. Also, I am really exited about doing the ski bus this Saturday. I went on the ski bus one time before and it was really cool.
I didn't like the snow very much. It was way to cold. I like more cold weather. I did go out in the snow a couple of times though. I mostly just stayed inside. At least we didn't have to go to school. Nice blog Wesley.
The snow was lots of fun. I got 3-10 inches (depending on the day). I only got to go sledding a few times. I like snowboarding a lot. I have never tried skiing but it seems like it could be fun. Nice blog, it seems like you had a good time.
That is cool that you are doing snowboarding. I don't do either but skiing does look like more fun. I live by the beach and I got only like 3-8 inches. Being pulled behind the quads sounds like a lot of fun. Anyway nice blog and good luck on the ski
